रेमेम्बेर Rehoboam

Look at what has just taken place. America of all places has accepted an African American democratic nominee for the presidency. What does this really mean? Does this mean that America is ready for a Black president. Does this mean that racism has been eliminated? The answer to the latter is certainly not. Of course racism, class ism and sexism still exists in the land of the free and the home of the brave. I wonder how many have already determined that they will not vote for Mr. Obama just because he is black. Sadly there are many Americans that will vote republican just to keep a black man out of the white house. At the same time God is ultimately in control of life situations. He is really the one that sets up one and puts down another. Sometimes God allows wicked kings to rule and uses them to judge a nation who is anti-God and sometimes He sends righteous kings as an answer to the prayers of His people. Sen. Obama is on the way to the white house. So what does this mean? Time will reveal the will of God. Jeremiah Wright is a modern prophet to the nation. Regardless of his style or personality, he's got a word from the Lord. I pray that President Obama will heed to the prophets that God will send to him and rule with wisdom and love and lighten the burden of the people. Remember King Rehoboam in 1 Kings 12.

Well, I agree with you. I also believe that Obama is doing what he needs to do, in order to get elected and once he do, he will call on Rev. Wright or others for that wisdom. I believe the year 2009 will be the year of change and it will start with the first African-American President of the United States of America.

How prophetic - naming Senator Obama as President Obama. I too believe that he will be the next President of these United States and that all attacks, plans and deeds formed by the enemy have been crushed already. I pray that he will use those prophets that have already been put in place to help him while surving the journey God has already set for him.

I think that it is very important that Mr. Obama or whomever becomes the next president listens to the word of the Lord. In order to restore America to the strong and established country it once was, its leaders and its people will have to return to the God they founded this land on. Although the founding fathers may have practice Deism- the belief that a supreme God exists and created the physical universe, but shall not intervene in its normal operation, America was still founded under Christianity and must return to its roots. Hopefully Obama will heed the words of the prophet and bring the change that we truly need. Post some more blogs I enjoy reading them.
